Theme 2: Interventions, climate change, and health

Axe 1 : Urbanisme favorable à la santé et justice environnementale

The research area “Interventions, climate change, and health” brings together three experienced researchers—Pauline Caille, Guillaume Chevance, and Paquito Bernard—supported by a team of doctoral students and postdoctoral researchers.

Our work takes the form of behavior change interventions aimed at generating joint benefits for health and for climate change mitigation or adaptation.

We are currently working on the development and evaluation of interventions to promote active mobility, as well as interventions to help people exposed to high temperatures maintain good quality sleep.

The team also has solid expertise in knowledge synthesis (systematic reviews and meta-analyses) and in measuring and analyzing behaviors and mental health indicators in real-life conditions, particularly through digital technologies (smartphones and smartwatches).
