Statistics Exposome and Environmental Health Conference

Members of the Cités team are involved in organizing the conference Statistics, Exposome and Environmental Health.
It will take place from June 23 to 26, 2026, at the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme en Bretagne in Rennes.
This conference aims to strengthen synergies between the fields of statistics and public health, by creating a space for exchange and a community around methodological issues related to health data. It will bring together master’s students, doctoral students, post-doctoral researchers, researchers, lecturer-researchers and professionals from several fields: statistics, epidemiology and bioinformatics.
This conference will be particularly focused on the exposome and environmental health, and more specifically on the following topics: multi-omics data analysis and integration, causality analysis, as well as a discussion on ethical issues and scientific reproducibility.
Tuesday June 23 afternoon and Wednesday June 24 morning will be dedicated to short courses on causality and omics data analysis, in order to prepare participants for the scientific sessions. The conference itself will run from Wednesday afternoon to Friday noon. Finally, Friday morning will be devoted to talks on ethical issues and scientific reproducibility, as well as a round table discussion.
